TRUENDO is a tool that helps you make your website GDPR and Cookie (the so-called “Cookie Law” is actually the ePrivacy Directive) compliant using automation.
How does TRUENDO do this? TRUENDO scans your website and looks for elements that collect personal data. It uses this information to create a privacy policy that is unique to your website.
TRUENDO aims to make data privacy easy-to-understand for the website visitor and easy-to-manage for the webmaster. For the end user we created the so-called “Privacy Panel”. The privacy panel is an interactive, easy-to-read privacy policy that a person can click through. For the webmaster we created the “Admin Center”, where you can easily manage the content of the Privacy Panel. If there is something that the scanner did not find (this can happen*) you can update the Privacy Panel in the Admin Center. This way you have control of the Privacy Panel. Speaking of control, you can theme the Privacy Panel to fit the colour scheme of your website and you can also add your company logo to it.
For Web Agencies we constructed the Admin Center in such a way that allows you to manage multiple websites from one account. This is a great way to add value to your portfolio. Your customers will also benefit because their website will have a Privacy Policy (in the form of the Privacy Panel) that people can actually understand. This builds trust.
The TRUENDO Privacy Panel automatically updates itself. We understand that websites are constantly being optimised, meaning that new strategies and tools are used. TRUENDO therefore scans your website on a regular basis to make sure that any new elements added, that are relevant to personal data, are added to the Privacy Panel.
At TRUENDO we have TÜV certified Data Protection Officers. We also have a partnership with a law firm that double checks TRUENDO, to make sure that it, and ultimately your website, comply with the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive.
