Wendie first discovered WordPress in 2009 and transitioned from hobbyist to professional freelancer in 2011. She has since been an active contributor to the WordPress community, participating in various WordCamps as a volunteer, speaker, and emcee. In 2024, she served as one of the Lead Organizers for WordCamp Europe.
Beyond her work in WordPress, Wendie is also involved with De Liefdesdokter, a learning collective dedicated to exploring and fostering all forms of interpersonal connection.
