About WordCamp Vienna
WordCamp Vienna takes place since 2015, hosted WordCamp Europe in 2016. In 2025 is powered by generous sponsors and a team of 25 WordPress enthusiasts organizers and volunteers.
WordCamps are informal, local, community-organized events, that should be attended by everyone who uses WordPress, the free and open source personal publishing software that powers over 40% of the Web (60% in Austria).
This applies to bloggers, designers, developers, authors, marketers, copywriters, SEOs… companies, startups, non-profits, consultants, freelancers, and even complete beginners. The goal is to exchange knowledge, learn from each other and network!
Participating either way in such an event is a great way to learn and network in a closer level with the WordPress Community while contributing and pushing further this great Open Source Project, that brings joy to many websites making our lifes easier and richer.
